About Us

Get Involved

There are many ways to give back to our community and we are grateful for the continued support that we receive throughout the year.  If you are a regular supporter of if you are considering us as a way to Get Involved in the community, here are some ways that you can help.

Host a Food Drive

Food drives are a great way to help the Emergency Food Bank collect and fill our warehouse with non-perishable food for those in need in the community.  We encourage businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals to host canned food drives anytime throughout the year.  We also started monthly food drives for certain items to make donating easier for the community.  If you are interested in becoming a Food Drive of the Month Partner, or want to host a Food Drive, please contact the food bank at 209.464.7369 or info@stocktonfoodbank.org.  We can provide all the tools you'll need to have a successful food drive!

Donate Food

If you are a business in which you have access to food supplies which are not sellable due to it being close to the shelf date, or the packing might be damaged, call us to find out how you might help support your local food bank thorough our donations program.

Donate Funds

Your monetary donations make a difference at  the Emergency Food Bank!   Donations stay local and help families in San Joaquin County who are facing hunger and food insecurity.  The EFB is an independent food bank so we depend on the support of the community, businesses, and local government agencies to secure the food items that we directly distribute to families and seniors through our Main Pantry and Mobile Farmer's Market program.  We also extend our reach by providing food to Pantry Partners throughout San Joaquin County who have clients that are in need.

Funding – Grant Opportunities

The EFB is constantly looking for ways to fund the ever-increasing need in our community. If your business or a business you know might have such opportunities for us to raise monies for our organization, please inform the EFB office so that we may seek those. The EFB is constantly looking for ways to fund the ever-increasing need in our community.  If your business or a business you know have an opportunity for us to raise monies for the EFB, please contact our Kathy Croci at 464.7369.

Request a Speaker

We acknowledge that others may have outlets and resources which the EFB could look into attending to educate folks on the needs of their community and how they can get involved. Help us by sharing your civic clubs, groups, meetings, bible study and more so that we can tell others about how they can help.

Become a Board Member

We have a diverse group of community volunteers who help over-see our agency and with their combined experience, expertise and wisdom, we are able to teach more resources in our community, as well as receive strong guidance. For information on how to become a board member please contact Dr. Leonard Hansen at 209.464.7369.
