In recent years, the EFB's weekly client count has more than doubled. It was evident that in addition to providing emergency food to those in need within the community, education was critical in the ongoing effort to feed the need of Stockton and San Joaquin County. Our 3,000 square foot Thomas F. Wilson Nutrition Education Center, named after long-time food bank supporter, Tom Wilson, allows a myriad of nutrition classes targeted to seniors, single parent households and families with children - teaching the wisdom of good nutrition and family meals.  We also feature a 3,000 square foot demo/teaching garden - to show the community how develop a garden in an effort to become self sufficient.
